
RULES OF PLAY
The Cincinnati Queen City Classic will observe NAGVA and USAV Rules
during tournament play.
POOL ASSIGNMENTS
All teams will be assigned for pool play using NAGVA registration
recommendations.
ELMINATION ROUND SEEDINGS
Teams will be seeded by total games won / lost and point differential.
REFEREES
Each team must provide all referees, linesman and scorers during
pool play matches. IF a team DOES NOT have a NAGVA certified
official for pool play they WILL HAVE to pay for an officials
fee for someone certified to officiate during their scheduled
time to officiate during that match. During elimination round,
all but the head official must be provided during that match.
TIME LIMIT
There will be a 40 minute game clock begriming with a 5 minute
warm-up.
UNIFORMS
The wearing of uniforms within NAGVA approved guidelines will be
required.
NUMBER OF PLAYER
A team will not be allowed to play with less than 6 players. Roster
additions will not be allowed during tournament play EXCEPT under
special circumstances to be reviewed by the tournament committee.
SCORING
Pool Play
Matches are rally scoring to 25 points. The score will begin at
0-0, with a 27 point cap.
ELIMINATION ROUNDS
Winners Bracket
All matches will be 2 out of 3 games. The first 2 games will be
to 25 starting at 0-0, no cap. The third game, if necessary, will
be to 15 starting at 0-0, with no cap.
LOSERS BRACKET
One game to 25 rally scoring starting at 0-0, with no cap.
